Gas Pipelines Public Awareness RedVector eLearning

Gas pipeline safety is critical – not just for your employees, but for public safety as well.  Therefore, it is imperative that gas operators have an effective awareness program to inform the public, public officials, emergency responders, and excavators as to the location and safe work practices around gas pipelines and what to do in an emergency.  This one-hour course is led by Certified Safety Professional Jon Wallace, who has over two decades of safety experience and is nationally recognized in the area of occupational safety.

By the end of this RedVector course, students will be able to implement an effective gas pipeline awareness program, state the minimum 49 CFR 195.440 requirements, list the American Petroleum Institute (API) Recommended Practice (RP) 1162 requirements, and name the target audience for the gas pipeline awareness program.
