RedVector is happy to announce the following course has been approved for Texas Registered Accessibility Specialists.

RV-10790AW – Accessibility by Building Type: Multi-Use Facilities

Remember, 8 hours of coursework is required. Four hours must be in TDLR-approved, TX-specific regulations. The other 4 hours must be in laws and standards such as Americans with Disabilities Act Accessibility Guidelines (ADAAG) or any other accessibility guidelines proposed or adopted by the Access Board or United States Department of Justice; Americans with Disabilities Act; International Code Council/American National Standards Institute (ANSI) A117.1 Standard on Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities; Life Safety Code; Fair Housing Act; Business Practices; or Ethics.

The courses available for this profession will meet the 4 hours required in other laws and standards. RedVector currently does not offer courses for the 4 hours specific to TX regulations.
