New RedVector Course – Construction Project Delivery Systems

RedVector is proud to release a new course, Construction Project Delivery Systems.  This hour-long course is mobile-ready and provides an overview of the key attributes of project delivery systems.

The primary focus of this course is on design-bid-build, at-risk construction management, and design-build, with some brief discussion on job order contracting, IPD (integrated project delivery), and public-private partnerships. Program and professional construction management, which can be used on all of the above-referenced systems, will also be addressed.

By the end of this course, you will be able to define the significant characteristics of major project delivery systems, specify procurement and contracting approaches best-suited for each delivery system, illustrate characteristics of those providing project management assistance to owners, and identify decisions an owner should make in choosing a delivery system for its project.

This RedVector course was authored by Michael Loulakis.  Mr. Loulakis is a senior shareholder in the construction law firm of Wickwire Gavin, P.C., where he represents domestic and international clients on construction-related matters. His extensive and diverse background in the design-build process allows him to provide comprehensive legal representation to clients on design-build projects around the world, including advising owners on project delivery systems, contract drafting, claims administration, and dispute resolution.
