Attention Engineers and Land Surveyors in New Mexico – Change in Requirements

Previously, the New Mexico Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors required a minimum of 4 PDH in ethics to be taken biennially.

The minimum has now changed to 2 PDH in ethics.  However, there is no carry-over of ethics hours.  If you take more than 2 hours in ethics, the excess will count towards General PDH.

Remember, 30 PDH are due by December 31st of this year if your license number ends in an odd number!

All 30 PDH can be taken online.  The New Mexico Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Surveyors does not pre-approve courses. The courses for this profession offered by RedVector have been reviewed to meet the requirements for a Professional Engineer. It is the licensee’s responsibility to verify that the course material meets their specific scope of practice and criteria required by the Board.

If you are seeking online continuing education hours or have any questions about these courses, contact an educational advisor or our client support department today.
