Attention All Landscape Architects Licensed in Maryland – Change in Requirements

As you may be aware, the Maryland Board of Examiners, together with the representatives of the Maryland Chapter of American Society of Landscape Architects, the educational community, and other stakeholders, has been working on adopting regulations required by law. The law also requires those whose licenses expire between October 1, 2015, and September 30, 2016, to complete at least 12 hours of professional development activities. While the regulations are not yet fully developed, please note that you still have to comply with the following requirement.

The proposed CE requirement is:

24 PDH required (all PDH may be taken in Category A in online coursework)

  • 15 PDH in Category A – minimum
  • 1 PDH in Category A – Ethics
  • 8 PDH in Category B – maximum

The Maryland Board of Examiners accepts courses provided by LA CES approved providers. RedVector courses have been approved by LA CES.
