Smart Workplaces New Course Releases

RedVector has recently released two Sexual Harassment Prevention courses comprising 4 hours of mobile-ready content. These courses have been updated (based on the latest changes in California law) to include definitions relating to gender discrimination.  Each of the courses below have been customized for both office workers, and those who work in the field.

Smart Workplaces: Sexual Harassment Prevention for Office Managers & Supervisors, California AB 1825
Sexual harassment should never be taken lightly. Without the right information and training, even the most minor incidents can erupt into big problems—complete with costly litigation fees and a possible PR nightmare. In 2005, California bill AB 1825 mandated that: All California employers with 50 or more employees must provide two hours of sexual harassment prevention training to their supervisors and managers every two years, starting in 2005.

The California Fair Employment and Housing Commission (FEHC) recently established new regulations interpreting AB 1825. These new regulations specify the requirements of the sexual harassment prevention training which employers with 50 or more employees must provide to their supervisors and managers [FEHC Regulations (CA Code of Regulations, Section 7288.0).

This course provides two hours of sexual harassment prevention training to office supervisors and managers working for employers in California with 50 or more employees. Scenarios and example situations office workers may face are discussed in this course, in addition to proper management strategies for handling sexual harassment in an office setting. This course meets the content requirements stipulated in FEHC Regulations, Section 7233.0. (c) including amended regulations. The FEHC Training and Education Content Requirements Section 7233.0. (c) is located in the Appendix of this course.

This course provides two hours of sexual harassment prevention training to field supervisors and managers working for employers in California with 50 or more employees. Scenarios and example situations field workers may face are discussed in this course, in addition to proper management strategies for handling sexual harassment in a field setting. This course meets the content requirements stipulated in FEHC Regulations, Section 7233.0. (c) including amendment regulations. The FEHC Training and Education Content Requirements Section 7233.0. (c) is located in the Appendix of this course.
