HSE Course Releases

RedVector has released two HSE courses comprising 2 hours of mobile-ready, intermediate-level content.

Powered Industrial Trucks is a video course recorded in our Tampa studio, and is authored by Mr. Sheldon Primus, a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist with a Masters of Public Administration with a concentration in Environmental Policy. He has been in the environmental and occupational safety field since 1994, and is an authorized OSHA instructor for the 10- and 30-hour general industry and construction courses. Be on the lookout for drone footage in this course!

Powered Industrial Trucks.pngImproper use of powered industrial trucks can lead to catastrophic injury or death. Accidents can be avoided by adequate policy, procedures and training. This interactive online course will teach you the requirements for safely operating a forklift. You will also learn the OSHA standards that govern forklift safety. Additionally you will learn best practices for battery safety, storage and the handling.

RCRA Generators is authored by Mr. Mark DiNardo, CSP. Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and has spent the last 11 years with the Environmental Health and Safety Department at the University of Pittsburgh. As a Hazardous Material and Environmental Compliance Specialist, his responsibilities include oversight of high hazard chemical laboratories, chemical risk assessments, chemical spill response, fuel storage tank inspections and safety training.

This interactive, online course will focus on Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) as it stands today, with all amendments incorporated.

This course will provide guidance to assist employees and management in order to maintain compliance with the RCRA regulations. Handling hazardous waste according to RCRA regulations will create a safe work environment and allow companies to be good environmental stewards to the communities in which they operate.
