NEW PROFESSION: Minnesota Electrician

RedVector now offers courses for Minnesota Electrician.

16 hours of continuing education credit biennially.

Renewal

– Class A and B Master Electricians renewal occurs February 28 odd years.
– Class A and B Journeyman Electricians renewal occurs biennially based on the date of initial licensure.

– Maintenance Electricians renewal occurs biennially based on the date of initial licensure.

Of the 16 hours, at least:

– 12 hours minimum in NEC

– 4 hours maximum in technical topics

All hours may be taken in online courses. The Minnesota Construction Codes and Licensing Division (CCLD) requires continuing education to be pre-approved by the Board. Those courses offered by RedVector have been approved by the Division.

The following 13 courses for 16 hours were approved for Minnesota Electrician.

2017 NEC Changes: A New Process and Five New Articles (RV-11104) – 1 CE hour

2017 NEC Changes: Branch Circuit, Feeder and Services (RV-11106) – 2 CE hours

2017 NEC Changes: Communications Systems (RV-11116) – 1 CE hour

2017 NEC Changes: Enclosures and Boxes (RV-11108) – 1 CE hour

2017 NEC Changes: General Requirements (RV-11105) – 1 CE hour

2017 NEC Changes: Hazardous Locations (RV-11112) – 1 CE hour

2017 NEC Changes: Protection and Grounding & Bonding (RV-11107) – 1 CE hour

2017 NEC Changes: Special Equipment (RV-11114) – 1 CE hour

2017 NEC Changes: Special Occupancies (RV-11113) – 1 CE hour
