RedVector now offers courses for Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP)
300 contact hours (25 CMPs) due every five years based on the last digit of license registration number, see chart below. All 300 hours can be taken in online courses. 300 contact hours = 25 CMPs. 1 CMP = 12 contact hours.

Of the 300 hours:
– 180 hours must be related to occupational safety and health (OSH)
– 120 hours maximum may be obtained from non-OHS material (management, computer skills, communication, professional ethics, conflict resolution)
The Board does not require continuing education to be pre-approved. The courses for this profession offered by RedVector have been reviewed to meet the scope of practice set by the Board. It is the licensee’s responsibility to verify that the course material meets their specific scope of practice required by the Board.
